Ornella is a Master student at the London School of Economics studying Politics and Government in the EU. She joined SENSD as one of its first members in 2010 and was SENSD UK Country Coordinator until July 2012, when she became President of the network. With the help of a great team she works hard to raise awareness of environmental issues both within and outside universities. Her slogan “together is better” perfectly encapsulates how she approaches her job at SENSD. Stressing the power behind team working, Ornella is aiming to take SENSD forward to a new stage of development of the organization based on a professional, strong and united cooperation of students. Her multicultural background and her passion for travelling and cultural exchange, made her particularly interested in the different levels of sustainable awareness between and within societies. She does not take anything for granted and she is therefore critical of the traditional stand behind climate change that would leave little hope to react to a Malthusian reality. Instead, she believes in changes, and she sees in SENSD the perfect combination to bring some of those about through student activism at the European level and behind. She believes that empowering students and encouraging them to speak up is the best way towards a more sustainable and equal Europe. |

| Description: | Currently based in London, Natasha is an avid traveller and is passionate about the world around her. Studying Politics and International Relations at Oxford Brookes University gave her the grounding to pursue a career within international and government affairs. With a special interest in sustainable tourism she intends to pursue a Masters in a relevant area to develop expertise in international project development. Her experience in environmental and sustainability policy, combined with her exposure to the international sphere, makes her eager to be part of the team taking SENSD forward. She believes that uniting and presenting the student voice is vital in creating a sustainable pathway for future generations. | |

| Description: | Guilhem is in charge of internal communication within the network. He’s grown up in France’s Jura countryside where he built a deep love for nature. After completing a Bachelor degree in Applied Foreign Languages, he decided to specialize in Business Engineering. Now on Erasmus in Brussels, he chose to get involved in European Student life and play a role in the future's construction by joining SENSD. | |

| Description: | Hannah is a 23-year-old undergraduate student in Political Sciences and Islamic Studies at Heidelberg University/Durham University. Interested in exploring different cultures and approaches to a sustainable lifestyle, she has strong experiences in the voluntary sector at both the local and international scale. She has spent considerable time doing voluntary work in Thailand and Jordan, and organises international workcamps in Germany. Through those experiences, she has gained solid knowledge in the fairtrade movement, person with disabilities' movement and, through her work at HIIK, in peace and conflict research. If not studying or working abroad, Hannah loves to test her debating skills in international MUNs and to broaden her knowledge about youth action and networking in European and World Youth Congresses. Now, she is working hard to establish the SENSD network in Germany. | |
