SENSD Lithuania is going to participate in Earth Day celebration in Vilnius.
A parade of high-school and university students and a concert will take place, aiming to draw the attention of the society to the rising problems and to introduce the ways in which we could help our planet.
The preliminary program of the event:
2 pm-5 pm - fair (the part of Gediminas avenue from V. Kudirka square to the Cathedral)
2 pm - start of the bicycle ride (Cathedral square)
2:30-4 pm - performances of Vilnius musical schools' students and other collectives (V. Kudirka's square)
3 pm - the parade of high-school and university students and NGOs begins (Square of Independence in front of the Parliament)
4 pm - finish of the parade and bicycle ride (V. Kudirka's square)
4 pm - final concert (V. Kudirka's square)

On 10 October, Sustainability Day in the Netherlands, Morgen (SENSD Netherlands) handed over their Manifest to ten managers of universities. Speakers at the event included former Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende and former chariman of the board of directors of Rabobank Herman Wijffels.
