The Earth Focus Foundation proudly presents an International Conference on the current threats and solutions to our world’s environmental crisis. During this 3 day conference, various
issues will be discussed which fall into two basic categories. The first involves updates on existing threats and the second offers solutions to those problems. Through panel discussions,
question and answer sessions, workshops, and most of all, public involvement, a coordinated effort will be made to collectively brainstorm, discuss and draft effective strategies to tackle these issues including proposals to world leaders due to meet at Rio de Janeiro in June.

On 10 October, Sustainability Day in the Netherlands, Morgen (SENSD Netherlands) handed over their Manifest to ten managers of universities. Speakers at the event included former Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende and former chariman of the board of directors of Rabobank Herman Wijffels.
